I am very proud to share that I received a Grow With Google Scholarship. While 15,000 or so were awarded, I still feel priveledged to have the opportunity to learn a new skill due to the generosity of Google and Udacity. The itch to code again has been increasing for me. Getting accepted to this program has allowed me to learn the basics of android development and start creating an app that I’ve wanted for a long time, and I’m happy to say I’ve already started on it.

Note, these commands work on a MAC using the Terminal program. I haven’t tested these anywhere else.
OH MY GOODNESS! I wish I had learned these commands a long time ago. As I begin to do more with long commands, particulary operations style tasks with programs like Kubernetes, I find myself more and more wanting to clear the command line. I already knew about reverse search, but what I didn’t know was how to clear a command if I didn’t find the one I wanted in reverse search.

It’s true. I’ve been squatting on several domain names for a while, including this one, which means I’ve been a bad internet citizen. I hope to correct that in 2018 starting with this post.
One of the items blocking me from doing something with my internet properties sooner is that it costs money to host custom web content. At least, that’s how it used to be! I don’t need dynamic content (no database hosting)… I just need a place to serve static HTML.
